While doing research and reading publications, I came to the conclusion that in order to build a unique and engaging narrative in your game, there must be a key denominator for the player to engage in. This article outlines what succeeded in previous story styles as well as what makes the new gaming tale type unique. A game isn't the same as a movie.

While reading this , I noticed that there are several areas in game storylines where we've gone wrong so far. The bulk of the problems arise from common misunderstandings.

1. Dialog is the core of a story.

2.It makes absolutely no difference what the story is.

I knew including conflict in your story, whether you're creating it for any type of media is a must. From the start, conflict is a factor of the structure and embedding in the development process.

I also discovered classical story structure should be examined by game creators because it is simple and effective. This tool will not spark your creativity, but it may be a value asset to integrate within your writing process. Each act in a classical story is motivated by a reversal. The reversal is what keeps the hero driving forward, once they overcome the challenge. As a result of action, a reversal can occur, trying to make the discovery more effective.

There are several type of conflict in a story.

1. Internal fighting is a common occurrence in books.

2. Interpersonal conflict is most frequently depicted in plays and soap operas.

3. External conflict happens most naturally in movies, and in games.

Visual games are still the most prominent. Games are a close cousin of movies, but not movies

It's common known that characters react to how you treat them. In some games the capacity to change the game's overall plot is actually quite limited. The developers use cunning tactics behind the scenes and provide the impression that your choices matter, but without actually changing the plot. It's like re-enacting the same scene but with multiple characters from each role. When the storyline does branch, it quickly returned to the central path. I have seen this happen in games like GTA V.
